Ambrosino’s works are conceived within a reflection of its own self. Romantic vocation of an artist who is at the center of its own universe without passing through the border of its own time. The “self” and now are two concepts around which rotates the entire experience of Ambrosino. All his sculpture indeed are conceived from a careful reflection of time and the influence that it has on human beings. Of a great visionary impact is the work “past, present and future” which can be considered the ideal conclusion of the series “moments”. It is a sculpture conceived following a complex reflection which seems to contain the sense of life. The triangular form allows an isolated and at the same time complete vision of all its sides. The façade is sculpted as symbol of the past, the memory, memories, and the other one is smooth because it represents pages which still have to be written, expressed by the horizontal line which represents the trait-d’union between the two moments[…] the love of the sign, for the gesture is clear in every work of the artist. Antonio prefers the sculpture because he loves to inflict to the substance the tangible sign of his presence. The artist indeed loves the moment, the instant in which his hands meet the substance and transform them in something else.
